It
consists of three addresses:
- The museum of Doctor Yersin in Nha Trang Pasteur Institute.
- Linh Son Pagoda in Suoi Cat Commune, Yen Khanh District.
- The grave of Doctor Yersin in Suoi
Cat Commune, Dien Khanh District.

ALEXANDRE YERSIN (1863-1943) is an excellent professor who devoted
all his life and works for the science research of mankind. He travelled to
Nha Trang in 1891 to establish the first enterprise of virology researching
and experiment in Vietnam. At the beginning of 1899, he established the
Pasteur Institute in Nha Trang. After
50 years devoted his life to the science researching in Pasteur Institute
(1891-1943), he left for the science 55 works of value science researching. |
He acted as:
- President of Nha Trang Pasteur Institute.
- President of Indochina Pasteur Institute.
- President of Hanoi Medical University.
- General inspector of the Indochina Pasteur Institutes.
- Academician of the French Academy of Sciences
- Honourable Chairman of the Medical Commission of Pasteur Institute in Paris.
